Today the renewal of the double degree PhD agreement (Electrical Engineering) between the universities of Chile and Nottingham (United Kingdom) was signed. The renovation is for five years and is open to all academics and students in all areas of research in the electrical engineering departments of both institutions.

On July 10, two new modular generators for microgrids arrived at the laboratory, the PM15I60F06 and PM15I30F60 units of the Belgian company Triphase, both with a capacity of 15 [kVA] at their outputs. For the case of the PM15I60F06 unit, there is up to 60A output to generate up to 6 isolated DC outputs or 2 isolated AC (three phase) outputs.

During the days of July 23 to 27, the commisioning and the corresponding training of the units was carried out by the engineer Koen De Smedt.
